Abstracts of Studies about Diversity in Engineering and Science

The studies abstracted here provide information on attrition factors, intervention programs, trends in the workplace, and more. Many studies explore the experiences of women and minorities as they move through education, industry, and academia. Here we offer abstracts of some of the key literature. Some studies deal with mathematics, as well as science and engineering, because it is often possible to generalize from one area of scientific work to another.
